As part of the laity (now professional) she served in several ministries in the church – Missionary Society, Homeless Shelter, and Helps. Ms. Gaskins attended Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Capital Heights, MD on a part time schedule and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with honors (magna cum laude) in 2005.
Ms. Gaskins was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and now resides in a Maryland suburb. She is currently retired from the Federal Government, divorced, and a mother of two, a daughter and a son (deceased).view less
