He retired from the army in 1991 after twenty years of service and acquired a master’s in professional counseling. He has held various jobs as team member, team leader, first sergeant in various detachments, and first sergeant and acting commander of the president’s bomb squad (EOD) in the army for thirteen years. He was also NBC operations and intelligence NCO for the Twenty-Fifth Infantry Division (L) and for a reserve army battalion, also a year as first COSCOM enlisted reserve NCOIC for his remaining army time. He has counseled both in the army, in mental health departments, and a youth prison. Now retired, he counsels pro bono. He is a recovered alcoholic of twenty-seven years. He has taught extensively throughout his life, both in and out of the army. Though he wrote extensively in the army, with this book, he begins a new life phase in writing.view less
