She grew up hearing stories about boards her father built - a hollow wooden board in the 1940s and the Collier and Matador foam boards in the early 1960s. She has been involved in her family’s Long Beach Island surfing business since it began in 1966.
Caroline works as a physical therapist and has written several fitness and rehabilitation articles. For this book, she combines her love of writing with her passion for surfing and affection for LBI.view less
