As a single father of three children, he loved reading with his kids and began developing stories specifically for them. He began writing to challenge his mother who says that his stories are the worst things she has ever read. He is a bit of a know-it-all who knows a little about almost everything but really almost nothing about one thing in particular. He has a degree in Math and Economics from Vanderbilt University and a MBA in Finacne and Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin. He loves endurance sports and he completed his first marathon in 2011 his first full Ironman in 2013. His love of Scuba diving has led to extensive travel in the Caribbean and his love of languages and cultures has led to travel through Central and South America and Western Europe. In his spare time, he is known to study other languages, including Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.view less
