He loved to read JRR Tolkien and Sir Author Conan Doyle, Edgar Rice Burroughs and Robert E Howard. He played sports and was very athletic. While attending Grand Valley University, he studied print making and art history making the dean's list almost every semester. He was also published through the college newspaper for four years. Where he illustrated political cartoons and wrote several articles. An avid science fiction sword and sandel fan, he began writing at age 40.view less
