Started working in Maxim's Restaurant (in Houston) with my father, Camille Bermann, at the age of sixteen. Went to France for two years, working in the vineyards of Bordeaux, France, and the kitchens of Nice, France. Was in the Marine Reserve. Continued working with my father and then became owner after Dad passed away. A total of forty wonderful years. Sold Maxim's in December of 1999. I now do catering, bar tending, and a few other things. And traveling a lot more.view less
