Clarence has a Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), Atlanta, Georgia, and has done further study in the ministry at Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Georgia. He has received certification in Clinical Pastoral Education and has held the position as a hospital and a hospice chaplain. He has served on several committees throughout his denomination and community organizations. Clarence enjoys reading, speaking, meeting people, and traveling.
