Throughout her lifetime, she has taken on challenges that promote a humanitarian view of what the world could be. She has faced diverse situations in life, both good and bad, approaching them head on, and has a unique perspective on what it takes to accept oneself, be accepted by others, and become a humanitarian. She’s an accomplished author and frequent speaker to groups seeking to develop a more humanitarian understanding and approach to life, including: college classes, businesses, and conferences. She travels internationally for business and has seen the best and worst that life has to offer around the world. In 2013, Emily founded The Humanology Group which acts as point of contact for individuals and organizations involved in Humanitarian efforts. She developed the ‘Helping Humans Get Along with Humans’ track for the Global Health and Humanitarian Summits bringing together a diverse group of speakers from countries around the world addressing humanitarian issues and concerns.
