She has walked the Good Red Road since she visited the Great White Buffalo in Montana in 1956, and has studied many esoteric traditions, including the five-fold path of Kriya Yoga under Yogi S.A.A. Ramaiah in 1969; the works of Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity Church; and the readings of Edgar Cayce, having joined the Edgar Cayce roundtable in 1972.
