Growing up in a traditional and disciplined middle-eastern family, Leyla, found that much of her passion for poetry rubbed off from her father, a keen reader and writer of poems as well as her great granddad, who has been known to write affecting poems in Farsi also. Poetry was definitely something which was passed onto her, as she describes the feeling as “…words just flow through my mind, as does blood through my veins, perhaps it is hereditary”.
Leyla is a maturing author and expects to publish more of her work in the near future. Her book titled GooDbye is her first publishing experience and so she is thrilled to be able to share what she feels is a piece of her with the readers.view less
