But he really learned all he needed to know from his son, Steven, and coaching youth baseball. Kendrick coached youth baseball for boys and girls while his children grew, taking both to national tournament championships, all while working full-time in aircraft maintenance for FedEx at their main hub in Memphis, TN. Today, he is working on solidifying his son's legacy in the sport by building the Gamechanger Scholarship Fund and the SK11 Training Facility in Munford, a suburb of Memphis.view less
