The hospital was run by London Mission Society in a small border town of Zambia...view moreMichael Sikana was born in Zambia in Africa, at Mwenzo Mission Hospital by then, years back in 1972. The hospital was run by London Mission Society in a small border town of Zambia called Nakonde that borders with Tanzania. He did primary school in Nakonde until he went to a Catholic Mission School called St. Francis Secondary School in Kasama, the Provincial town of Northern Province, where he did secondary education. He holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies. He has attended various courses in Leadership Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Studies.He has been working as Freelance I.T. Consultant for twenty-six years from 1995 to 2021. Alongside consultancy work he has been lecturing in seminars on Leadership Skills Development, Marriage, Entrepreneurship, Men’s Development, Youth Development, Business Development and Management and also on Poverty Reduction.In 2018 Mr. Michael Sikana, developed a training package called Action To Overcome Poverty (ACTOP). The package is aimed to be used when training people living in poverty. The package contains specialized knowledge, appropriate skills, ideal methods, and effective actions that people living in poverty can use to overcome poverty and come out of poverty. In this training package what stands out is the unique concept to overcome poverty.
