Though not boisterous of flamboyant, he exudes the love and caring of the Lord through his ministry and through his personal example. Not a man of superfluous word, he attacks issues in a concise and tidy manner.
Thompson is a graduate of Draughons School of Business and Stephen F. Austin College and holds a BD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He ministered as a Baptist missionary to Brazil and Portugal, organized a seminary, directed a seminary extension division and pastored several mission churches.
He encountered unclean spirits while in South America, but it was not until he was baptized in the Holy Spirit that he operated in the deliverance ministry with full power. Since his infilling, Thompson has seen hundreds delivered from the stranglehold of the enemy.
Carroll Thompson was a teacher at Christ for the Nations Institute, Dallas, Texas for 14 years. He taught a variety of Bible and theology classes. His class entitled “Deliverance” proved to be one of the most popular.
Carroll now teaches and ministers at various Churches, Bible Colleges, and Conferences worldwide. The Thompson family resides in Dallas, Texas.
