She studied at the Sorbonne and lived in Paris for nine years. She is a member of the French associations, Femmes d'ici et allieurs and Femmes au dela de la mer. Blaisdell leads an international literary salon online as well as teaches the courses French Feminists on the Beach, Counterpoint and Writing Into The Known.
