She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds an MA in Journalism from American University. Alex lives on the edge of a forest in the beautiful Piedmont region of North Carolina with a handful of her favorite people, dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish. She is a proud member of most North Carolina museums, makes amazing marshmallows, plays the Celtic drum, and still uses her library card.
