Jaylonna has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and currently working on her MBA. As a spiritualist Jaylonna believes we have the greater power inside of us to change our circumstances dramatically. Jaylonna has been described by many as smart, fierce, sexy and in control. She is known as an executor; one who gets things done.
Born to a single parent of four, Jaylonna understands not only the plight of the single parent, but the many facets of life that being raised in that element brings. Jaylonna had a childhood that was filled with many memories that left a mark on her life and writing and entertainment was her way of creating a safe outlet to express her feelings. Jaylonna's stories are centralized in real life themes that the reader can relate to.
Jaylonna also has had a life-long passionate for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as there is a personal connection for her and the diagnosis. Her oldest son Aaron was diagnosed when the disorder was very uncommon. Jaylonna looks to give back in the form of charities and organizations that are passionate about autism and other developmental delays.
Jaylonna's writing style is unique; she likes to expand her writing and her works vary from various fiction genres to Self-help and personal testimonials. As a writer, Jaylonna can tap into diverse streams of her artistic talent to perfect her gift. Jaylonna is often looked at as a risk taker and her work can be seen in the following genres:

Jaylonna began her writing career assisting a local playwright in Columbus, Ohio. In 2012, Jaylonna wrote and produced her first stage play, "The Lounge" which sold out the first weekend. The Lounge had a centralized message about domestic violence that that captivated its audience. In 2014, Jaylonna's play was accepted to the Atlanta Black Theater Festival and the DC Black Theater Festival. Jaylonna has also taken on various roles in the local film industry. In multiple films, Jaylonna served as an extra, Script Supervisor, Set Location Manager, and Unit Production Manager with Awalkonwater Entertainment.
A lot of Jaylonna's writing tends to tie in a central message at the end for her readers. Her writing has exceptional stories that will take you to the depth of your emotions. Jaylonna can add a special touch to her writing and comes down to the level of her readers and they appreciate that.
With a passion for health, Jaylonna has overcome extreme depression. Jaylonna fought her way out of a loveless marriage and shed 75 pounds as a result of finding out who she really was. In doing so, Jaylonna is able to empower women of all ages to be happy and to live the best version of their life that their heart desires. As a writer, speaker, entrepreneur, entertainer, and mentor, Jaylonna brings to the table a host of diverse experiences that she shares with her audience in complete transparency.
