She came up with the characters of Charlotte and Chopin and presented them to her mum, Simone, asking her if they could write a story together based on her ideas. E-V was nine years old at the time. The authors and illustrators divided the work in a collaborative fashion. E-V drew all characters and approved all background illustrations and painting. The story was written by both of them. Mother and daughter live their lives as a student and a digital marketing manager in New York City. They both work for the small social media family company, Sim One, LLC.view less
