Kauai's pristine water, perfect beaches, and lush jungle were the basis for the fantastical realm of Satchandia. Amanda holds an anthropology degree from the University of Utah and has traveled extensively, spending many years as an outdoor adventurer. Her latest adventure is as the homeschooling mother of two kids. She now lives in Washington State with them, her husband, and their dog.
