I was able to draw from a lifetime of experience with diverse cultures and regions when writing this novel. For two decades, I worked in the high-tech industry as an award-winning technical writer and was the Program Manager for the Wisconsin chapter of the Society for Technical Communications before I switched to writing fiction.
