His studies in various disciplines (philosophy, literature, physics, pedagogy), the experience of living both in the West and the East, and periods of personal retreat fostered his reflections in philosophy, science and linguistics. Astronomy has been central in his activities and building telescopes expanded into an interest in vision and in colour theory. Understanding colour formation became a subject of personal research. Other passionate pursuits include hiking and music. He co-leads monthly café-philo encounters that aim to promote agility of thought and freedom from entrenched viewpoints.view less
