This consultancy and a visit to East Africa in 1995 led him to form ‘Aid into Africa’. AIA is proud to say it has delivered 350 tonnes of educational and medical aid into the Third World.
Retiring in 2008 after 38 flights in and out of East Africa with his vast experiences he had gained there, Alan, with his entire family’s support and advice, is attempting to put his knowledge of Africa into his novels. He is grateful to Austin Macauley for publishing Hoodwink for him.view less
