In 2000, she met her husband in Munich, who has been severely disabled since an accid...view moreKathrin Kaiser, a federal civil servant, was born in 1975 in the former GDR and grew up there. In 2000, she met her husband in Munich, who has been severely disabled since an accident. Their first child was born in 2008. In 2010, she moved to Bonn for professional reasons. Her husband stayed in Munich, so she regularly commutes between North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria, mostly in her plane. She had her second child in 2014. She has been a private pilot since 2019 and writes books and travelogues about her trips in her own small plane. She also flies for good causes, e.g. charity flights or supply flights to the Ukrainian border. Since 2020, she has successfully organized several large annual international fly-in's at her home airfield in Bonn-Hangelar. Her greatest wish is to fly around the world.view less
