Since he was a young boy, Lawrence was fascinated by the stories he read, in particular the worlds they took him to, and wanted one day to be able to fascinate others with his writing. He began writing poetry in his teens and dabbled in short stories for his own enjoyment. As the years passed and the responsibilities that often follow a misspent youth began to demand his attention, his writing fell to the wayside. It wasn't until after his time in the military that he began to write again and his drive to entertain readers, evolve as a writer, and stand head and shoulders above others in his chosen genre, is second to none.view less
