In actuality, this was a death sentence because life in the feds means just that....view moreOn December 9, 1996, I was sentenced in federal court to Life plus 360 months with 360 months running concurrently. In actuality, this was a death sentence because life in the feds means just that...you spend the rest of your life behind bars. I had been found guilty of numerous drug related offenses. During this time, I read the Bible over and over from start to finish. I saw all of the wonderful things that were written in it but I had to prove whether or not they were true. I couldn't just take the word of others because my life was at stake. So there, I begin my journey of walking with God. On August 30, 2016, after serving 20 years in prison, the President of the United States, Barack Obama, commuted my sentence to 30 years. This left me with an additional six years to serve. But in 2018, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, passed a law called the First Step act which opened the door for me to be released on November 8, 2019 after serving a combined 23 1/2 years in federal prison. By no choice of my own, I was forced to proved that the Word of God was true or die in prison. I chose the former...God revealed to me the results that faith in His word would bring. This little book was given to me by the Spirit of God and if applied diligently, will produce healing in the physical body. I have proved it over and over in my personal life during these past 20 + years. I was hesitant to write about my past life of incarceration but I realize just how many of God's servant's were at some point in their lives incarcerated although maybe innocent of any real crime. But it matters not whether you're innocent or guilty, when the door locks behind you, you are in a terrible situation. Only Jesus could bring me out of prison...only heaven knows how many prayers I prayed. But I can say with all of my heart...God is faithful to perform His word...view less
