She has been at various times a store clerk, a computer programmer, a technical writer, a museum docent, and very long ago a library clerk at the Washington Post. Her published writings include a private eye series set in Trenton, New Jersey, a series of clerical mysteries featuring small-town priest Lavinia Grey, and a number of historicals, for one of which, THE EDGE OF RUIN, written under the pen name of Irene Fleming, she won the New Jersey Author's Award from the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance.view less
