Most of...view more36 years as a professional teacher and trainer, Mildred Lopez was born in the city of Bangalore, India in 1956. She was very shy as a child and was always deep in thought and contemplation. Most of her childhood days she had spent at the piano enjoying her passion for music. At the age of 17, she was awarded the "All India Scholarship for Western Music." She is a qualified Music teacher with an ATCL Diploma from Trinity College London. After graduating from University, she started her career as a teacher. Her career encompassed a wide range of students from primary to university level. Teaching and training students in English, Math, Music, Drama, Business English to adults and English to speakers of other languages. Along her journey as a teacher, she has completed the TESOL Diploma with distinction and earned herself a Master Trainer Certification. Her hobbies include travelling, music, writing, reading, art and craft, sketching, painting, baking, sewing and gardening. She has travelled to Australia, Singapore, Italy, France, Portugal and Spain. Currently she lives in Malaysia with her husband. She is extremely positive, has strong faith and is spiritually inclined with the ability to relate to the young and old alike. She was awarded a gold medal by the Catholic Diocese at the age of sixteen in the state level catechism exam. Passion, perseverance and self-motivation have been her strengths all through her career. She likes reading inspirational books. Some of her favourite authors are Norman Vincent Peale, Louise Hay, Rhonda Byrne and Gabrielle Bernstein. Having successfully completed the entire circle in the field of education, she has now embarked on her career as an author.view less
