A fellow of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Council of Education, she recently completed a nine-year term as a trustee of the Jekyll Island Foundation and currently serves on the Foundation’s advisory board. She is the author of The Jekyll Island Cottage Colony and coauthor of The Jekyll Island Club (both Georgia) and was named a Georgia Author of the Year in 2011 and 2013.view less
