It was when she lay hospitalised on her seventeenth birthday in November 1939 that she found the joyful answer to the WHY of suffering. She passed away on May 9, 1961, aged 38, and lies buried at Holy Name Cemetery in Marcus, Cherokee County, Iowa.view less
