Iowa a...view moreMartin O. Vaske, S.J. (1915-2004) was an American Roman Catholic Jesuit Priest, Professor of Philosophy, and author. He was born on July 25, 1915 in New Vienna, Delaware Co. Iowa and was ordained at St. Mary’s in Kansas in 1947. He joined Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska as a Professor of Philosophy that same year. He published a number of books on philosophy, including Approaches to Reality (1972), A Philosophy of the Beautiful (1976) and A Philosophy of Morality (1980). Vaske died in Omaha on February 8, 2004, aged 88.view less
