A series of short essays he has written on fairy tales have appeared in the on-line literary journal Modern Literature (modernliterature.org). In addition to his writing, he is the playwright, along with his coauthor, Jim McGuiggan, of The Green Children musical play, which premiered in the fall of 2017, and he is the playwright, along with his coauthor Tonya Clarkson-McCain, of A Goblins Christmas Carol, with lyrics by himself and original music by Kyle Shaw, DMA.
Kenny is a lifelong resident of the Illinois prairie. He holds a BA from the University of Illinois and an MA and MDiv from Trinity Theological Seminary. Most importantly, he is the father of Gary, Kelly, and Steve, and Grandpa to Maddie, Mia, Aniyah, Honor, Millie, and Wrigley.view less
