After surviving 12 years of Catholic school, he attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he majored in psychology (with a minor in naps, The Price is Right, and The Young and the Restless). In addition to penning novels, Patrick has written for The Washington Post and other publications. He currently lives in Arlington, Virginia.
