I began in the sciences, but have come ...view moreI've been an avid science and science fiction fan since the Moon landing. Then, as now, the media didn't matter: film, print, games etc. were all fair game. I began in the sciences, but have come to coginitive studies through anthropology and computer programming, with some work in historical archaeology. It has led me most recently to gaming and how it impacts cognition and how that can be utilized. The psychological and computer worlds combine to inform the areas such as artificial intelligence and speaks to what it means to be human. This is something I believe science fiction also explores. view less
