H...view moreKelwyn Sole was born in Johannesburg in 1951, and has lived in Botswana, Namibia and the UK. He taught for many years at the University of Cape Town until his retirement in 2016. He has won a number of awards for his poetry, as well for his academic articles on South African and postcolonial literature. In 2012 Sole edited a selection of contemporary South African poetry for the US literary journal The Common. His creative and critical work has been published widely in journals, websites and anthologies both in South Africa and overseas.view less
