In addition to the two non-fiction books, In Place: Spatial and Social Order in a Faeroe Islands Community (Waveland Press, 1996) and Running with the Fairies: Towards a Transpersonal Anthropology of Religion (Cambridge Scholars, 2012), he has written academic and popular journal articles.
