His late father, Dr Joy Seevaratnam, was one of the fathers of the Charismatic Renewal in Malaysia in the 1970's, when Reuben experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. After seven years abroad in University and Bible College, Reuben served with his father for more than ten years.
He is a council member of Asia for Christ Movement based in Manila, Philippines, and ministers in the prayer network for the state of Penang, through Prayer United Penang. Reuben and his wife Shantel have four children, and together lead Global Harvest Assembly, planted by Reuben's father in Penang, Malaysia.view less
