She was educated at Concord Government School, St George’s Institute of Secretarial Studies and the Pitman College London England and has taught at the Grenada Institute of Secretarial Studies before starting her own School in 1959. In 1989 –2007 she lectured at T.A Marryshow College, Grenada. She is an active member of her community and church, delegate member of the Grenada Cooperative Nutmeg Association and Grenada Cocoa Association. She enjoys reading, writing and traveling, She is ardent about gardening and is a productive producer of nutmegs and cocoa and many kitchen vegetables. She was awarded the Queen’s Medal in 2010.view less
