After completing sixth form (year 12), I was fortunate to have travelled to the beautiful country of New Zealand in 1986 where I have settled and raised my family since. After getting my permanent residency in 1987, I realized that I needed to further my skills and with so many opportunities, I started part-time courses while working fulltime and concentrated on developing my ability to speak and understand better English.
From 1988 to 2005, I manage to complete a few short term courses ranging from Computing to Social Working and in 2007; I was granted citizenship of New Zealand and started working as a Corrections Officer for the NZ Department of Corrections. I also worked 2 years with the Queensland Corrective Services, Australia before moving back to New Zealand Department of Corrections in 2011.
Though I never had any formal qualifications, I have always loved reading and in 2007, I decided that I was going to start writing. This inspiration came after I purchased a frameable Wisdom Card in Christchurch with a woman standing next to a Dragon and like a fountain; thoughts began to flood through my mind and that is how “The Dragon Queen and the Two Princes”, came about.view less
