In 1938 he...view moreBill Guthrie was born in Nebo, Illinois in 1917. By 12 years of age he was doing a mans work on his fathers farm. He married Jane at 17 and they were inseparable until her death in 2000. In 1938 he was ordained a priest in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and in 1947 he became a full-time missionary. He didnt just preach from the pulpit; throughout his ministrywhether in the United States, or abroadhed get his hands dirty helping build churches and lives. He died in 2003 at the age of 86.view less
