They have been marrie...view moreS. Alan Schweitzer has written his latest in a series of novels dealing with science fiction/fantasy themes. He is currently retired and lives in Avon, Ohio with wife Barbara. They have been married for 42 years and have a son, Matthew. Dr. Schweitzer was born and raised in Philadelphia and spent early years in South Jersey. He was a frequent reader of sci-fi and fantasy literature. Favorite authors include, among many others: Clarke, Asimov, Orwell, Bradbury, Herbert, and so on. Schweitzer holds the B.A., MLS, and Ph.D. degrees and has had a dual career in both teaching a foreign language and working as reference librarian for adults and for Spanish speakers and readers. Schweitzer loves to travel and visit other cultures. Above all, he loves classical music and holds great appreciation for the music of Arnold Bax, Debussy, Ravel, and Sibelius. This is Dr. Schweitzer’s fifth novel.view less
