Arthur was raised in the Projects of Brooklyn, Maryland. He served two tours in South Vietnam and was a recipient of the Bronze Star bestowed by the First Infantry Division. He received a direct officer commission to the rank of First Lieutenant while serving on active duty at the US Army Intelligence Command and Training School at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Today, he is one of America’s top corporate trainers and an author of numerous books and articles on professional credibility, interpersonal communication skills, and occupational professionalism. K.L. has been formally diagnosed with PTSD and actively participates in the Massachusetts VA Healthcare System’s PTSD program.
