Some years later, she attended seminars at the Women’s Justice Institute at Pace University in Westchester county, NY. Ms. Taylor has graduated with a Paralegal Degree from the National Academy for Paralegal Studies in 1993 and has worked as a counselor and court advocate over the past years in the County of Orange, NY with crime victims, domestic violence victims and their families and sexual assault victims.
Ms. Taylor has also been trained by the office of the District Attorney in both Sullivan and Orange counties, NY in the laws of Marital Rape and the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence. She has attended Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, NY, where she studied for her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Human Services. She has interned and acted as the county liaison in Orange County Department of Social Services child protective/preventive and foster care cases and has also interned with the City of Middletown municipal government in the office of the Mayor. Ms. Taylor is also the founder and owner of Taylor Consultants and Counseling Solutions, which is listed on the NYS Minority and Women -owned Business Enterprises archives. Ms. Taylor has served for three years on the County of Orange Human rights commission and the Town of Wallkill Human Rights Commission and Board of Ethics.
In 1990, Ms. Taylor received her Noble Ladies Shrine’s degree as a member of International Masons and the Order of Eastern Stars. She has also received her certification in Human Resources/Personnel Administration, with at least 10 years of experience in this field. She has also earned her certificate in Divinity and Evangelism.
Ms. Taylor is currently working on her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and hope to work towards her Masters in Social work and is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Women.view less
