She later studied English and music at Wheaton College, IL where she also attained her MA in teaching. She has been a middle/high school English teacher, a farm laborer, a freelance writer, and an agricultural Extension agent. Her writing has appeared in several magazines and newspapers. Grandpa’s Farm Has Lots of Saws is her first children’s book. She lives in Rhode Island with her husband, Nick, their son, Titus, a horse, a goat, two dogs, and three turtles.view less
