She earned her B.A. from Wilson College with a major in biology and minors in physics, chemistry and psychology at...view moreAline was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey in the 30’s, 40’s and early 50’s. She earned her B.A. from Wilson College with a major in biology and minors in physics, chemistry and psychology at a time when it was not usual for young ladies to major in the sciences. She and her husband were blessed with four sons to whom they dedicated their energies in nurturing and educating them. The family relocated to southern California where her engineer husband was employed in the aerospace industry. She returned to college and was awarded an M.A. in education from the University of Redlands. Mrs. Bethke taught general science and human anatomy and physiology in New Jersey and Orange County, California. In retirement she enjoys gardening, needlework, reading and the company of treasured family and friends.view less
