Dione kept an online journal to keep family and friends informed of his treatment and condition. The journal also became a way to witness to and encouragement that the Lord is always with us through everything and gives us the strength we need to get through even the hardest of times.
Dione and her family live in the Russellville, Missouri, area where Dione and Billy met as teenagers. Dione was a homeschooling, stay-at-home mom to their six children until it became necessary for her to go to work due to Billy’s cancer. She does continue to homeschool the kids while working part time.view less
