She was an only child the first twelve years of her life, so she had to entertain herself, and that form of entertainment was reading. Reading is still very important in her life, as in the ability to read well and the availability of books to read.
Janette and her husband Arthur have six children. They have fifteen grandchildren, six girls and nine boys, from ages five to thirty-three. She has many hours of enjoyment reading to her children and grandchildren. When reading to a child, she frequently exchanges the child’s name in the book, to the name of the child she is reading too, and the children love it.
Their retirement time is spent in two states to be near their children and grandchildren in California and Iowa, and they often visit their Texas son’s family.view less
