Her indigenous sovereignty was expanded in community-family spirits of Kpangbalamai, Liberia and Matathia, Kenya- experiences that reinforced learning from Stanford University’s doctorate in International Development. Dr, Wilsons’s innovations in equitable education were applied at San Jose State University. She coordinated complementary learning through a “Cross-Cultural/Urban Teacher Education Program,” based upon "Community-Family Guided Education."
