They and their families were close-knit, ha...view moreDon Bowlin grew up in a small northwest Florida farm town, known as Danaville in this novel. Many of his friends were from nearby farms. They and their families were close-knit, had a conservative outlook on life, and believed in god.
The Author’s paternal grandfather was a farmer and was a great influence during his formative years. For more than four centuries, the toughness, spiritual faith, and dedication by these special people have been the key element in our nation’s success. Now, the four-generation Kelly family carries on that great tradition with grace.
Bowlin spent many years in communications as a graphic designer, creative director, fine artist, and corporate advertising and public relations director with worldwide responsibilities and extensive international travel. His experience in writing advertising copy and press releases as well as designing creative print, film, and video production is the basis for his story-telling skills. He is an alumnus of Florida State University, a member of Pi Kappa Phi national fraternity, an ex-pilot, and a Christian.
