After the divorce of his parents, at age six, he was placed in a boarding home. In 1944, Bill quit high school and joined the US Navy. He served in the South Pacific aboard the USS Randall, APA 224.
After discharge he joined the US Air Force, attended OCS and retired as a Lt. Col with 26 years service. Following retirement, he worked with GE and Honeywell in Information Technology (IT).
In 1975, he went to Iran with Honeywell as an advisor to Information Systems, Iran. Upon return to the USA in 1980, he formed Adroit's Inc., an IT corporation, and went to Toluca, Mexico under an IT contract to the State of Mexico. Upon return to the U.S., Adroit’s performed IT contracts to corporations in the Silicon Valley of California.
In 1991 he suffered health problems and went into retirement. He traveled in his RV in Montana and Wyoming before settling down in Sutter Creek, CA., where he lives today. It was then that Bill became a serious writer, producing several booklets and his novel, “Billy Don’t”. Bill is now 85 years young.view less
