He was baptized by his father at the Paradise Ba...view morePastor Kevin E. Stafford was born in Los Angeles, CA to Dr. & Mrs. E.E. and Catherine Stafford. Kevin accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1978. He was baptized by his father at the Paradise Baptist Church of Los Angeles. Pastor Stafford accepted his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus in November 1990. He was licensed in December of 1990 and served as Associate Minister at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church under his father, Dr. E.E. Stafford.
Pastor received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, CA. He received his Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Interdenominational Theological Center (Morehouse School of Religion) in Atlanta, Georgia. He has a Doctor of Divinity degree from the New Freedom Bible College in Belleville, Illinois and his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Skills for the 21st Century is from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary of South Hamilton, Massachusetts.
On February 16, 2003 he accepted the calling of becoming the Senior Pastor and Chief Soul Watcher at Zion Baptist Evangelistic Temple in Compton, California. Prior to taking the helm at ZBET, Pastor Stafford served as Youth Pastor at the Orchard Knob Baptist Church of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He served as Senior Pastor of the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He also served as the assistant Pastor of the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles, CA.
Pastor Stafford also created Preachaboy Ministries Inc. in 2003, where he has several other avenues to express his gifts granted by God to share the word of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One of those such avenues is his music ministry, where his first music project entitled “Get After It!” was released May 2011.
