He retired from the US Army in 1975 at the place of his birth. He moved to New Orleans, LA and there he met and married his second wife, Donna Nanette Hyde. Between them they have seven children, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
During the course of Clifford R Ward Jr. and Donna N Ward marriage, he served as a lay pastor, lecturer, and was instrumental in raising a church in Honduras Central America.view less
